Defense Parts Development & Precision Machining

TAEKYEONG Precision machines defense parts as a supplier to Korean defense system companies. Customer names and part numbers are not disclosed at our customers' request.

We take on parts of many shapes — plate structures, brackets, housings and box frames — from the prototype stage through production. Our MVR 30 5-face machine with a 2000 × 4000 mm table machines large plates and structures in a single clamping. NC rotary tables indexing to 0.001° let us machine multiple faces and angled holes from the same datum, reducing re-clamping error.

Finished parts are checked against drawing dimensions on a coordinate measuring machine and shipped with inspection reports on request. Classified drawings are not accepted through this website; they are handled through a separate, agreed process.

02 · Battery Pack

Large Battery Pack Parts

We machine structural and housing parts for large battery packs. These are often long, thin plates with dense partition pockets and fastening holes.

For such parts, how the material is held against distortion and the order of cuts decide the quality. Large-table machining centers such as the FJV-90/120 (2000 × 3000 mm) and VM960L (2600 × 950 mm) let us machine long plates in one piece without splicing. Repeating the same fixtures and process across every piece keeps dimensional variation low even in production volumes.

After machining we measure flatness and hole positions so that nothing causes trouble at assembly.

  • One-piece pocketing of long plates
  • Large-table machining centers
  • Repeatability in production

03 · Machine Tool

Machine Tool Components

We machine precision parts for machine tool bodies and feed systems — structures, brackets and flanges. Because these parts mate with others and set the accuracy of the machine, the position of datum faces and bores is critical.

Our NHP6300 horizontal machining center (630 × 630 mm table, 1,500 kg load) machines multiple faces of heavy cast structures in one clamping. Combined with the 5-face machine and NC rotary tables, we hold squareness and positional accuracy. We also machine curved parts and round saddle shapes.

For tight-tolerance parts, the first article is verified on a CMM before full production.

  • Multi-face machining of castings
  • Bore & datum positional accuracy
  • First-article inspection before production

04 · Expansion 2027

Business Expansion
New Development Division

In 2027 we plan to establish a dedicated new business development division. Building on our precision machining capability, we will move from cutting single parts to building assembled products and production equipment.

  • Production Assembly

Deliver machined parts as assembled units to shorten customers' assembly lines.

  • Equipment Building

Build custom equipment using our part design and manufacturing experience.

  • Production Equipment

Build dedicated machines and devices for production lines.

  • Automation

Develop automation devices that cut repetitive work.

  • Jigs & Fixtures

Design and build jigs and fixtures for machining, assembly and inspection.

  • Government R&D

Join government R&D projects to gain new technology.

These expansion areas are planned to roll out step by step from 2027.
